What personal data we collect in the context of the marketplace and why we collect it
If you contact us via the marketplace contact button or by e-mail, the data you provide (first name, surname, e-mail address and, in some cases, the industry and company name) will be ours for one year in order to process the request and in the event of follow-up questions Third-party provider Sharetribe saved.
Contact / provider registration / newsletter
You have the option of purchasing services and products via our platform, subscribing to our newsletter or registering as a provider. For this we need your e-mail address as well as contact details and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter or the registration.
The following information can be stored in the register:
· Personal data: name, email address, company name, industry, telephone number, street
Account details: username, password (saved in encrypted format)
The descriptive text that the user can write about themselves
The offers and requests that the user sent to the service
The feedback given and received
Statistical data on service usage, e.g. Number of times the user has logged on
As soon as you have registered for a service, a product, the newsletter or as a provider, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm your registration. The data processing takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 Abs 3 TKG as well as Art 6 Abs 1 lit a (consent) of the GDPR.
You can cancel the subscription to the newsletter or the provider registration at any time. Please send the cancellation to the following e-mail address: email@example.com. We will then immediately delete your data in connection with the sending of the newsletter.
As a web service provider, we use world4you. These host the website and the e-mail traffic takes place via this provider. It is an Austrian company based in Linz. They undertake to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation.
We use Sharetribe for the marketplace. It is a Finnish company.
"Sharetribe" is responsible for sending the newsletter and personalized emails.
When visitors write comments on the platform, we collect the data that is displayed in the comment form, as well as the visitor's IP address and the user agent string (this is used to identify the browser) in order to support the detection of spam .
An anonymized string of characters (also called a hash) can be created from your email address and sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. You can find the data protection declaration of the Gravatar service here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment has been approved, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your comment.
We would like to point out that for the purpose of simplifying the shopping process and for later contract processing, the web server stores the IP data of the subscriber as part of cookies, as well as the name and address of the buyer.
In addition, the following data is also stored by us for the purpose of contract processing: name, email address, address. The data you provide are required to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude the contract with you. With the exception of your name, address and email address, data is transmitted to third parties, to the service providers or producers, to the processing payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, as well as to our tax advisor to fulfill our tax obligations. Depending on the payment method, SEPA data is stored by third-party providers (credit institutions, PayPal).
For users who register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can view, change or delete their personal information at any time (the user name cannot be changed). Website administrators can also view and change this information.
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of the browser. They do no harm.

Sharetribe serves as the server here. They save information that is automatically transmitted to us by your browser in so-called log files. These are:
(1) Information about the browser type and the version used

(5) Date and time of access
(6) Websites from which the user's system accessed our website
(7) Websites that are accessed by the user's system via our website
The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable the website to be delivered to the user's computer. For this, the user's IP address must be stored for the duration of the session.
Sharetribe uses googleanalytics as a web analysis tool.
For reasons of security and data protection, this website uses SSL encryption, which prevents third parties from intercepting and reading the data you have entered during transmission. You can recognize the active encryption by the green padlock or similar symbols in the address bar of your browser.

We store the following data for accounting purposes: first name, surname, company name, industry, address, telephone number, e-mail address, VAT ID. If you have agreed to a collection order (SEPA direct debit mandate), including your bank details. This data is not passed on, with the exception of the transfer to the processing bank / payment service provider for the purpose of debiting, for accounting purposes, and to our tax advisor to fulfill our tax obligations. Corresponding data processing agreements are currently in progress.
For the purpose of fulfilling the contract, access data for the online services you use, such as web hosting, e-mail providers, office solutions, etc. will also be stored, if necessary for the order you have placed and actively transmitted by you.
The storage takes place on encrypted local computer systems or portable computers secured by passwords and physical access protection.
The data you provide is required to fulfill the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude and fulfill the contract with you. There is no data transfer to third parties, with the exception of the transfer of account or credit card data to the processing bank / payment service provider for the purpose of debiting the invoice amount and to our tax advisor to fulfill our tax obligations.
All data from a contractual relationship are stored until the expiry of the retention period under tax law (7 years). Access data to systems used by the customer will be deleted immediately after the end of the contract.
The data processing takes place on the basis of the legal provisions of § 96 Abs 3 TKG as well as Art 6 Abs 1 lit a (consent) and / or lit b (necessary to fulfill the contract) of the GDPR.
